McSweeneys Auction

This has probably been mentioned elsewhere, as indie comics folks overlap with McSweeneys folk often, but apparently McSweeney's distributor has filed for bankruptcy, causing a loss to McSweeney's of $130,000, and as with Fantagraphics a couple years ago, they need your help, if you're a fan of interesting books of fiction, nonfiction, poetry and comics, with excellent design and rare wit. Some friends have donated some items to help them, which you can find at this eBay auction, which includes some Chris Ware items, signed/doodled Spike Jonze dvds, a Tony Millionaire drawing of Death Cab's Ben Gibbard, and more.

Also go to the online store for great savings on great items like The Believer subscriptions, Wholphin, The Future Dictionary of America, and everything else. I picked up a couple books from Dave Eggers and Nick Hornby, the 826NYC art catalog, and subscriptions to Wholphin and The Believer. Good luck, guys.
