Christopher Allen has been writing about comics for over a decade. He got his start at Comic Book Galaxy, where he both contributed reviews and commentary and served as Managing Editor, and has written for The Comics Journal, Kevin Smith's Movie Poop Shoot, NinthArt and PopImage; he was also the Features Editor of Comic Foundry and was one of the judges of the 2006 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards. He blogs regularly about comic books at Trouble With Comics. Christopher has two children and lives in San Diego, California, where he writes this blog and other stuff you haven't seen.

Shirty Writing

One bit of writing advice I'm not going to be stingy about:
Always write with a shirt on. I just don't think anything of note has been written shirtless. It doesn't work for me, I know that.
Now, as far as pants or shorts, that's totally optional. I find I write just as well in just a t-shirt and a pair of boxers. Maybe better. I'm closer to the source of my creativity.
