Annoying

Here are some things I find annoying and yet amusing:

My local Fox affiliate's news program spent nearly 1/4th of its time on non-news: an interview with the guy who played Edgar on 24 who died last night, and the complete trailer for X-Men 3, even though it played in its entirety earlier that night during 24.

Kirby Puckett was a week shy of 45, I think, but he's said to have died at age 45 in most of the news items I've seen.

A local Mercedes dealer now features Robert Wagner in its ads, kissing his ass about how the dealership is still so excited about their association with Wagner, and Wagner claims to be very proud as well to be dealing with Angelo Damonte and his staff, calling the car itself, "the whipped cream on the cake." What has Robert Wagner ever done? George Hamilton laughs at Robert Wagner.

I did used to watch Hart To Hart, though. Stephanie Powers...GRRRR!

I didn't mention it at the time, but Olympic bust Bode Miller is a putz.

CRASH isn't a good movie and shouldn't have been nominated, much less won Best Picture, and Matt Dillon should never have been nominated for Best Supporting Actor, either. He just played the same smug prick he always plays, and his redemption was totally contrived, as was the entire heavy-handed, Altmat-lite movie. Feh.
